Founding

Kennedy Pipeline Company was originally a division of Kennedy Mechanical Contractors which was formed in Paramount, California in 1936 by John Kennedy Sr. and his three sons. They managed the company for many years and growth of the company followed.

In 1964, Stuart Trumble took over management of the pipeline division of Kennedy Mechanical Contractors. Under the watchful eye of Trumble, the pipeline division became successfully established in the pipeline industry. Five short years after taking the helm, Stuart Trumble was incorporated as a partner in the 1969 forming of Kennedy Pipeline Company, Inc. Over the next five years, the Kennedy sons retired and in 1974 Stuart Trumble was the sole owner of Kennedy Pipeline.

Key Individuals

Mike Trumble

The son of Stuart Trumble and current president of Kennedy Pipeline. Mike has been near or around construction all of his life. Over the past five years, Mike has played in integral part in easing the retirement transition for his father Stuart Trumble. Using the experience and knowledge gained by his father, Mike has parlayed Kennedy Pipeline into Orange County's premier pipeline contractor.

Don Shoffeit

A seasoned veteran of pipeline construction, Don has been with Kennedy Pipeline since 1972. He has worked his way up the ranks to become the General Manager of Kennedy Pipeline. A natural leader with a talent for estimating construction projects, Don is in charge of landing the new projects Kennedy Pipeline schedules on the backlog. Although professional in nature, Don is easy to work with and provides a family type of bonding for all employees of Kennedy Pipeline.

John Shoffeit, Jr.

The field general superintendant overseas labor in all the projects Kennedy Pipeline participates. Daily trips to various project sites make John a difficult man to find in the office. A man to provide quick resolution to resolve any and all questions and quarrels of the client. Many people who have worked with John will agree that he makes the job easier for them.
